Like, correct me if I'm wrong but so far all "evidence" I've seen about this Uyghur thing is People Saying Things and.. Satellite Pictures. But zero in-person confirmation? Are the Chinese prohibiting access to these areas for anyone to confirm, in some sort of admitting to it by just cordoning the area off? So, has any agency actually gone to China to confirm what people have been saying? So far it seems like "The West" back to its old hijinks. There's been too much bullshit for everyone to just readily assume the crap we've been given as justification for a new Cold War is just automatically true. I'm sure there's human right abuses, in some ways - because China is an oppressive government that doesn't allow a lot of freedoms we take for granted, but this level of bullshit is piling up too high with frankly unjustifiable basis.
