I disagree. I think this is a perfect example of how facial recognition SHOULD be used. You don't fucking rely on it as your primary evidence. You use it to search for a suspect. Then you discreetly investigate that suspect to see if there is evidence to pursue him or not. The FBI did it right unlike the po-dunk cops that use it to arrest someone, hold them for hours or days, and finally go, "Oops, my bad. I'm sure the press coverage of your arrest won't have any lasting effect."
