Trying.
I thought that the lockdown + unemployment with stimulus pay would be a great vacation. Then, me and two former coworkers went nuts. They’ve voluntarily gone back to work, and I’m waiting to hear back on applications.
Unemployment with no end in sight (even with weekly pay) is just hell, imo. You wake up every day with no purpose, and spend tons of time in your own head. I’ve been out of work for an entire year.
