Per [NIST](https://www.nist.gov/news-events/news/2020/12/face-recognition-software-shows-improvement-recognizing-masked-faces) (and several other sources concerning facial recognition’s improvements with identifying masked faces) I’m not sure what a “dazzle mask” is but I’m assuming it’s one that has sequins on it that could potentially “blind” cameras with the way the light is reflected. If that’s the case, it may work if the light is strong enough and constantly reflected off any given sequin to just the right angle but I think it’s ultimately not that effective because: * cameras can be placed at varying angles to combat the effects * can potentially use lens filters to combat the effect * can be present in multiple angles in such well-lit areas (if one gets blinded, at least one other is likely functional) * one would still be vulnerable in areas that are not well lit at any given time
