Ethics are not ONLY important with AI but also important with how employees and employers conduct themselves.
Ironically Timnit works on AI/ML ethics and yet asked Google to do something that was unethical with sharing the names of the employees. It is vital the names on the review committee are anonymous so you can get honest reviews and also not create adaptational tension is the ranks. It would have been hard for some to not take a negative review personally.
