If you are willing to do customer service type work and need a job try getting into IT right now. IT is the one of the few sectors where job growth is skyrocketing due to demand. I have received more job offers this year for helpdesk/desktop technician roles than I did in the past 3 years combined. You are on reddit which means you probably have some idea how to use a computer. Most entry level helpdesk (T1) or desktop (T2) jobs pay between 40k and 55k. No matter what happens in the world someone will always need an IT person to help. * Low education/experience requirements. * Skillset translates to many other jobs (customer service/problem solving). * Incredible upward mobility only requiring minor certifications.
