I completely feel your sentiment, the disillusionment, the feeling that you are spinning your wheels for nothing. I feel the need to point out that there are few jobs that pay enough for a person to live on their own, make car payments, student loan payments, and not compromise themselves in every way possible every day of their working life. The fact that you have/had a good salary is more than most of us ever dream for. But, again, I understand the way you feel and your desire to move on. Perhaps working at a non-profit for a cause you believe in would be more satisfying? It is better than pushing carts around in the grocery store parking lot to earn a living.
