Contrary to what most people are saying here, this is actually how AI is used in critical business, medical or scientific environments. The AI choose the most plausible options or scenarios and the human select, confirms or refuse the choice/s.
For instance, given a list of symptoms and a database of clinical cases, an AI can filter out the most plausible prognosis, but only the doctor has the legal power of prescribing a drug.
Other important examples includes lawyers, tax agents, PhDs doing research, insurance/brokers brokers or counselors. Etc.
I've some certifications in cognitive AI, I'm far of being an expert, but I've got that humans are still needed and an important piece of the big machine
