If we develop human equivalent AI in the next 10 years, could it help speed up development of robotics to replace the manual labor force? AI is so resource intensive to power and run that it is no where near making it mobile and cost effective as a simple labor replacement. It's only useful in problems of logistics, planning, conceptual and computational problem solving, and the like in the near future. I work HVAC and it's not even cost effective to build temperature and pressure sensors into most rooftop commercial units, only limit switches. So we mosr units can't even self-diagnose beyond shutting down if a limit switch is tripped.
