Did the Brexit voters seriously believe we would be able to keep our easy European holidays, intercontinental jobs, low customs restrictions, economic flexibility the EU brought us after we flip them the bird and leave? I doubt the thought even crossed their mind there would be any sort of consequences. But hey, blue passports now, so theres that. I love a lot of things about my country, but if I have one wish for the future it would be to find a non British wife so I can ensure the best possible chance my kids will have the mental capacity to make critical decisions.
