We have the employee retention scheme I think they call it. But it looks like Spain is going full universal basic income. Which when you think about it is a better approach and far less open to abuse. They (without their own plans) mocked labour's manifesto saying we couldn't afford it but have then spent far more and there's no scrutiny of any of it. Be interesting to see where it all ends up after the dust has settled.
