If you’ve spent any time on Hacker News this wont be the least bit surprising. Just this week I was informed that women are rendered “temporarily psychologically insecure” while menstruating. And that was in a thread about a menstrual cup startup where quite a lot of people were having an awful lot to say about the fit of a cup vs a tampon considering they’ve never used either. I suspect (hope?) Silicon Valley tech funding is an extreme example but dammit it’s frustrating and exhausting.
