There are a bunch of self driving cars where I live. While the tech is a wonder of human achievement, they still suck at driving.
I've gotten stuck behind a few. They can make a 10m drive take 15m. They accelerate slowly, awkwardly long full/complete stops at all stop signs, won't go 1 mph over the speed limit, randomly slow/stop in traffic, and give everyone else right of way.
Given how many lights I've missed because of them, I can get why someone would slash their tires.
