Sadly tree farms aren't particularly good for the environment due to lack of biodiversity, better than no tree's I guess though.
Read an article recently about how although China are planting millions and millions of tree's they're not actually good for local wildlife as its all just identical tree's and not a natural varied forest, pretty interesting.
