Agreed. Someone's blind, 90 year old grandmother should be able to get in one of these self driving cars and be okay. Only then will it truly be a self driving car. Until then its not actually self driving. Also Tesla needs to stop calling it autopilot and needs to stop advertising its autopilot as allowing a car to drive itself without any hands on the wheel, or even without a human occupant in the vehicle at all: https://www.tesla.com/autopilot Note the demonstration video, particularly the end of it. The car is driving on city streets without any human occupants in the vehicle. Thats how its advertised so its no wonder that customers expect that the car can do this.
