I did a project over there with a very prestigious softeare company. The team worked 12 hours a day and expected me to also. I pointed out I had 3x as much output in my 8 hours then the whole team did with their 12 hours.
From what I've seen the productivity of Korean firms is dismal especially considering the time they put in.
