I'm not sure how that explains the suicide rate, according to a quick Google 12.5% of the population of SK lives in poverty, while Denmark (happiest country in the world last I recall) stands at about 13.4%. South Korea *is* a very wealthy country. Unless you're talking about poor in quality of life or something? But I'd imagine a 68 hour workweek in itself certainly doesn't help a country's suicide rate, in any case.
