There isn’t really the infrastructure there to do it. Mada is the third poorest country in the world. They are too poor and uneducated to even set up basic sanitation practices, so a crisis point wouldn’t even fall on their radar.
I spent some time there and they do not grasp the concept of sanitation, at least not in the most remote and poor parts of the country. I’ve never seen such poverty before in my life.
