Not a bad name for it. It's the mentality of "it's their problem not ours". So many people want to blame it on a 'fringe' group, or some political viewpoint. Everyone here should know by now that it doesn't make a difference who gets elected as an official. We've had plenty of world leaders the past century, but it's the people that can make the big changes in our lifestyles. If people feel better blaming Trump or Obama or whomever, that's great for them. It is indeed very selfish though, because the problem with our climate starts with you, not with who is elected as an official. If you don't want whichever politician to be your official voice in the upcoming disaster that is caused by us, then choose someone else. The disaster is still coming though.
