Fewer children growing up in impoverished homes, dumped on the street, sent to orphanages or causing problems for the mother. But under the new rules, you can only use that equipment in life threatening circumstances and if there's a proven case of rape. Suddenly, the amount of good that abortion equipment can actually do, is greatly reduced, so you buy the x-ray machine instead. So now you don't have the equipment for an abortion, so when a woman comes in and her fetus is killing her, you can't do shit about it and she has no choice but to die or seek back street options, which will almost certainly cause a hell of a lot of health problems. Real world scenarios and legal wording are different things. It's shocking how many people don't realise that.
