I think the point the person is trying to make is that the people who made a ruckus when that tesla caught fire, when they tried to pass legislation in certain states to ban its operation within the state borders or ban it's sale, or revoke funding for research and development funding for renewable energy sources, don't make a peep when 70 ford's light up over the course of a couple weeks.
