Not surprising. The Liberal government is extremely intellectually dishonest when it comes to climate change. I can't fathom a reality in which they aren't aware of the issues, but they'd rather feign ignorance than hurt the pockets of their friends in big business.
The saddest part is that during the Rudd/Gillard governments Australia was rated as one of the best in the world when it came to action against climate change.
