This is why the hatred of those on benefits needs to stop. The newspapers (owned by rich people) tell us that that people live like Kings on benefits, which simply isn't true. Sure there are the "why would I work?" benefits receivers, but the likelihood is they have simply never been exposed to a better lifestyle and don't believe it can exist for them. Personally I find that kind of sad. The working poor develop a hatred for these people, instead of for the rich who are holding everyone down. Granted I don't support hating the rich, but as a nation the way to get richer isn't by squeezing money out of the poorest, which seems to be the most supported approach.
