Well the transgender discussion is a genuine issue that affects many people all across the world (although it's being reduced to ridiculous levels in the US). Meanwhile I doubt the Starbucks thing is in any way of significant consequence and I don't even know what it's about...
I don't think we should necessarily rank the exploitation of workers and the marginalisation of gender queer persons against each other they're both important issues and we're intelligent enough beings to concern ourselves with more than one thing at a time.
