Teslas's don't have enough sensors for anything beyond lane keep + active cruise, so it's probably not fair to compare that to fully self driving cars. There should be a 360 degree vision envelope (with either lidar or surrounding cameras) around the car, and detailed centimeter-accurate 3D maps, neither of which Tesla has.
