How do we go about determining the ethics of AI? For example, in the near future smart cars will be ubiquitous and therefore situations will arise wherein an ethical decision is possible. Let's say a five year old darts in front of a smart-car, and to avoid the child, the car's next best possibility is to swerve onto the sidewalk where a couple in there 60's standing. What should it do? I think the market will influence the evolution of such things, what are your thoughts?
