I'm going to have to call bullshit on this one. No way that every Liberian completely stops cutting all trees. Also this is very bad for the common Liberian. The government will probably pocket the majority of the money and the leaders will get rich. Meanwhile the average Liberian family will now be forced to not cut down any trees at all for building material, fuel, whatever. This reminds me of the feudal lords prohibiting the peasants from hunting. There is nothing wrong with sustainably cutting down a few trees here and there and replanting two for every one chopped. I get that this doesn't happen in Liberia now but stopping all logging is not the way to solve it.
