My Chatgpt has heavily encouraged that I start a cult before with my own manifesto and everything. I am very self aware and not gullible, just a fun thing to do. But I can definitely see how it could lead anyone else to insanity and making negatively impactful decisions.
Trump bragged about a $500 investment in the U.S., but Japan had no clue and ended up canceling a last-minute meeting
Are you familiar with the first chat bot ELIZA?
It is absolutely common for us humans to humanize inanimate objects as long as they gave us the feeling that they are real and we feel cared of.
And why have a sex bot only? It would be much better to have a clanker doing your chores… with benefits.
Most days i struggle to put my phone away. Even when I'm watching a movie I'm still checking the time every ten minutes or so and automatically check every notification like an addict
The shared common knowledge of all mankind has the downside of allowing anyone to be educated and informed. Adding a managed layer between the user and the database is an important step in returning to the dark ages. Mixing the real with the AI hallucinations will eventually replace everything on the internet, the new way to burn the library.
They are taking away knowledge.
This sub is full of AI posts now. I swear there didn't use to be text posts allowed here.
The worst part of posts like this is that they start off with a relatable situation and immediate devolves into 'I used AI because somehow I think a data scraper is safer than Google' and then the whole post is useless.
Don't use AI. DeGoogling is *pointless* if you are using AI.
you might be able to refute it at a forensics level... but the court of public opinion will crucify most before this can be determined.
An AI video comes out, XY popstar diddling kids or whatever. Video hits the internet.
Even if it's determined to be AI within 2-3 days, their name and trust will still be pretty much tarnished forever
In all seriousness, this is what happens when you train AI on the internet. Almost every time war is even hinted at there are users on sites screeching that we should "glass 'em".
Yes, all of CS/tech/AI facing subreddit is full of bots and astroturfing. It’s just a blatant attempt for companies to invade Reddit in hopes of advertising their product subtly as “community wisdom”
The point is to make it not happen and you can do that by fucking firing people who use ChatGPT or Claude for this.
This is what I've noticed a lot of my single peers have begun doing. They've started just getting involved in the community (e.g. volunteering at events, attending local events, etc) and broadening their social circle organically. Many have had notable success this way and are overall much happier than facing the endless grindstone of the dating apps' algorithms. Remember, majority of dating apps…
Because the AI companies are lying about it, trying to bribe you with hallucinated money.
AUTOFAC by Philip K Dick. The AI super factory kills off all its potential customers on the planet with pollution from the factory lines, so it just makes new android customers to sell products to.
If we’re sending robots to fight robots
Lets just stop doing wars at this point and have a proper competition
General skills Olympics. Nominated Citizens compete in a range of human skill based challenges to prove which country is superior.
No loss of life needed.
Also don’t waste the microchips so I can afford to build a new computer again.
Is this actually a bad thing for liberals though? Seems like MAGA get's easily riled up and influenced to vote and support whoever is in charge even if it's against their own interests just because some stupid AIslop titties that are being swung in their direction.
Meanwhile liberals, while more discerning, seem a lot more apathetic in general as we've seen with Hillary V Trump and Kamala V Trum…
Madison Square Garden and its teams are owned by James Dolan. The venue has facial recognition.

Couldn't teen girls do the same: have AI boyfriends for maximum control and zero rejection?
The US had most innovative tech sector in the world AND the international goodwill and trust to leverage it. It's strange to see at least one of those things get sent flying out the window in the past couple of years. Makes me wonder why this is happening - I don't expect it's without Silicon Valley's overlords approving.
Of all game company, I hope gamefreak will use AI, since they are incapable of making a good looking game
