... by the Western coalition. Turns out those good patriotic leaders have a habit of advocating for worker's right and welfare, which cuts into the profits of multinational corporations.
An average house here in the Phoenix area are around $500k+. Two Bd Condos are $300k. My own theory as to what causes this economic misery are the lack of well-paying jobs that doesn’t require college, an excess of crappy paying service jobs, technology automation that favors those outside the economic misery, and a culture that worships asshat billionaires. The problem won’t be solved by gov…

Google has one that’s better! So much so that one of their engineers thought it must be sentient (Meet LaMDA, the Freaky AI Chatbot That Got a Google Engineer Fired https://observer.com/2022/07/meet-lamda-the-freaky-ai-chatbot-that-got-a-google-engineer-fired/)
But the press is tough on Google so they’re too timid to launch something like this into the wild. A small company like OpenAI can blindl…
That quote comes from the World Economic Forum **2020** Report on Future of Jobs.

Recommend giving it a read and skim, even if outdated. The latest discussions from the WEF can be found in this discussion panel from WEF 2023 that ended recently:

So is this rhe team behind the reason chatgpt will make fun of men but not women and will make jokes about certain nationalitys but refuse to do so with others or write up jokes about white and straight people but send you a warning if you ask for a joke about certain genders or American minorities.
Funny how this is what future work will look like. Someone will generate long documents, someone else will copy paste them in and let Gpt4 summarize.
For every 1 genius creating something truly awesome with chatgpt and AI, there will be 100 other idiots pulling shit like representing themselves and then telling the other lawyer they used chatgpt.
Unfortunately, this teacher seems to be one who *already knows* that GPTZero isn't a good tool to catch ChatGPT, because they didn't actually use it for this. As such, any arguments involving GPTZero are likely to not work.
The real method to combat this is to point out that ChatGPT's responses are *random*. They are not the same every time. The teacher appears to be going on the false belief th…
Interestingly, you could envision a start up that uses an AI for that CEO role from the beginning. Existing companies won't, but new ones likely will, assuming AI gets good enough. Drastically cut that overhead salary.

If you weren't aware, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman was the CEO of Reddit for eight days in 2014, used to be on the board, and is a major shareholder.
Just great - fake, unhinged right wing rants. Just what we need to train our AI overlords on.
Deepfakes need to be illegal, even photoshops, if the intent is to show someone doing something they did not do.
Political cartoons are allowed because they are obviously not real.
But a deepfake of Trump in blackface or Kamala saying F Jews should be illegal.
I’ve said this before but not having children is definitely not just an economic thing. This is more likely cultural. The countries with higher fertility rates are usually in economic dull drums. If it was economic, those countries would have less children than the west.
Another way to look at it is New York cities metropolitan area has an economy of 2 trillion. If it were an independent country, it would be the the top 10 in the world. The global economy is about 100 trillion.
So if you look at it as about 2.2% of the globes gdp using about 5% of its power generation, it makes a little more sense. Still a difference but not quite so extreme.
Back in the days when we were just taking first few steps with interwebs, there were high ideals of sharing information for greater good etc. - And what really happened was porn and cat pictures.
Now, when we are taking first few steps with AI, what do you think will happen? There are few who have high ideals of it for sure, but for what do you think that the the sweaty ass people living in base…
Hope you say that when you get replaced by AI, which will eventually happen to everyone btw
Yes, go google it yourself and you need to write a very strange powershell script which is changing registry keys, and according to what I see on stack overflow it's likely not possible depending on your system
This is not something an llm is good at, it's not even really writing code in this example
As someone who works in tech and sees how AI works and fumbles to do very simple things, I view this as incredibly unhinged paranoid doomer rhetoric that is unproductive for the present generation, at best, and potentially damaging for future generations, at worst, by instilling a fear and basic prejudice against the AI of the future. These posts are tiring and unfounded, ignorance about what AI …
