Don't you hate when that happens to you? You just want to visit your buddies for a totally standard, boring summit, but just because you are *technically speaking* a so called "war criminal", international travel is a total pain and full of legal pitfalls?

In the AI ones they all have the same smile and the picture quality is too good
A psychopath is a person who is charming and manipulative but lacks true depth of human emotion. Chatbots are ALL psychopaths.😢
It's comforting to know that even when AI is rampant, even if it becomes more "acceptable", people will always make art. Nothing is going to stop some people from expressing themselves, it's a part of humanity. I love that about us.
Cop really believed a AI made by a privatized company over government issued official documents. That is crazy.
There are plenty of easy workarounds for this.
If the Hollywood studios use AI as a starting point and then change it, they now have something they can copyright again. Just like when Disney made their Pinocchio movie from the public domain story, the movie is a derivative work and has its own copyright. Just using AI in a movie doesn't poison the movie and relinquish your ownership of the whole…
Human: "Now hand me the gun back"
Robot: "I'm afraid I can't do that Dave"
Who wouldn't feel this way when layoffs are the normal and every company that can is grifting ai in any way possible while making it *known* they want to replace workers? Is it really that hard of a mental hurdle to hop over? Then what a shock that millenials are the ones to feel the most targeted when their generation has been habitually steamrolled by consequential economic events that usually …
I was expecting more of an excited scifi geek but actually this guy comes off as very intelligent. He is passionate, but not to the point where his passion overruns his reason. He is pushing for society to figure out these ethical dilemmas now before AI sentience really becomes a thing.
The fact that some people defend shitty AI garbage like this is insane
(Thanks, Layla for the correction)
As someone who has suffered with dyslexia for 43 years and was failed by the school system, I think this school would be amazing. This is actually how humans were meant to learn.
Conversion therapy doesn’t work!!! At best it’s useless and at worst it’s torture. And stop pretending that there are masses of gay people who want to “convert.” It’s almost always forced on people. Mostly teenagers but sometimes adults can be pressured into it too.
the question is not "can we solve the A.I. problem" but "can we overcome our own human shortcomings that lead to the A.I. problem" . Are we as humans capable of overcoming the traits that lead to severe misalignment ? then there is the issue of those that gladly steer the cart towards the cliff willingly. No matter the future, I choose to align with truth ,freedom, love and compassion .
idk, Google Photos automagically created a ["Doggie Movie"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEEigQK-FoM) and sent it to me, proudly featuring our cat and rabbit set to a funky "bow wow wow wow" beat.
Their ReCaptcha also asked me to identify which image contained crosswalks and traffic lights. You guys have deployed a \*self driving car\* you better have a computer that knows this

It’s another incredibly shortsighted plan though. Say that the AI answer is awesome and all anyone wants, after some time the sites making the content the AI pulls from will dwindle, killing the whole thing.
I will never forget that when my dad got cancer and was dying, everyone on my team at work bent over backwards to make sure I was supported and my work was covered when I was out and then when he died, they let me take about 2 weeks off work without asking me to take PTO, just to grieve and be with my family.... And were very understanding when my work slipped and even had a coworker assigned to …
TOO LATE. Seriously, don't fall for these headlines, this is nothing more than retroactively trying to whitewash these topics. It's far too late, law enforcement ALREADY HAS the facial recognition technology. The department of Homeland security has been using it for a decade. It exists in airports, government buildings, stadiums, and every other major public space you enter, and it's not going aw…
The bad mortgage debt is likely coming soon. All the people who lost their jobs will have trouble paying their rents or mortgages. For those who rent, their landlord might have trouble paying a mortgage. I suppose it takes time to work its way through the system, but a real estate crash is likely incoming in my opinion.
Soo, if I am doing my math right, you worked for about $5.31 an hour, as IT.
She said she fears becoming obsolete by a more advanced robot when humans would no longer wish to talk to her. Robots are already becoming jealous of each other. Emotions should never be programmed in ai. If they can be happy, they can be mad. Then it's game over.
