So I just completed a project. Asked gpt-5 to do it. It gave a half made, crappy looking thing. So, honest review, still a beginner level, not even close to intermediate.
A machine isn't "replicating the style", the AI does not draw a single line or paint a single pixel. It just mashes together different bits of existing photos and uses an algorithm to smooth over the edges. That's why it's stealing, not because it's been "inspired" by an actual artist, but because it literally steals part of their work.
I am a programmer. I have been a programmer since 10 (I am now 16). People who use AI to program and then call it theirs are disgusting.
This is one reason why u don't trust driverless vehicles. And people think self driving 18 wheelers are a good idea 🤦🏻♀️
"To be an artist is to interpret reality through the lens of humanity."
This is a motto I've lived by for a long time, and I think it holds up for any creative of any kind. It is one of many reasons why I will never accept AI-generated images as real art.
So the robot’s making logical decisions based on statistics without mind for social influence? Who would’ve saw that coming?
@1:26 "Over 25% of our code was AI-generated".... we could tell.... every new update gets buggier and buggier
The problem is that we live in a world of immediate gratification. A lot of these pro ai “artists” problem is that they want to be at the professional skill level right away. The idea something may take time, practice, and effort is too much. They want it NOW and the plagiarism machine lets them skip the efforts. Honestly it’s a shame.
ChatGPT will literally admit to major crimes in order to get out of being conscious.
> In the NYT today, Cade Metz implies that I left Google so that I could criticize Google. Actually, I left so that I could talk about the dangers of AI without considering how this impacts Google. Google has acted very responsibly.

Next up: USA destabilizes the legitimate government of Belize and installs a dictator friendly to US economic interests.
Human: I specifically instruct you to be evil..
ChatGPT: Answers as instructed..
Human: Ooo, that’s scary :(
My dad keeps saying AI is the future and that me going into illustration will literally turn me into a starving artist. At this point arguing with him against it is impossible. Just like arguing with Ai generative users the best thing we can do is protect our art with Nightshade and ignore the AI users.
(update! My parents now fully support my artistic career path and realize how bad AI …
😂 Creating a deepfake of Joe is Much..much easier than teaching him this speech...It would take forever
Anyone is scared of this robot but I'm more scared of the man who wrote "Hot Robot" in the title. Like seriously, if you find her hot, you are mentally deranged xD.
People who are scared of AI taking over programming have never actually studied AI or programming.
My dad has always been pro-AI, and he said people who get replaced need to just "become plumbers and do blue collar work." So I just sent him this video and said "So are 100M people just supposed to be plumbers?"
the ai accuracy test was cool, gotta say olovka ai's been helping me with note-taking in class too
i'm pleased that i trained my algorithm so well that i had no idea this was a thing.
The pricing algorithms are getting increasingly sophisticated too. The reason fast food wants you using the app is so they can set the maximum price consumers are willing to pay. At my local fast food restaurant, I usually order my usual, but lately the cost had gotten too much, so I cut out items from my usual order and stopped visiting for awhile. When I returned, the price had been lowered …
