Moronic cart before the horse.
Windows 11 continues to bleed users to competitors because it adds shit no one asks for.
Here's the problem with AI. Any report number can be announced, and it'll be treated as the gospel truth and no one will bother to fact check.
They forgot that people want to SURF THE WEB. it's a platform to allow for that. AI would be a nice gimmick feature, but that shou…
Yeah WTF happened?
People defensive about their own AI use?
Understandable if the NYTimes only wants to pay people who actually do their own work. Especially since this ended up plagiarizing, which is serious.
If you use AI at work its probs a good idea to check with your boss first.
I wouldn’t think of yourselves as the guinea pigs. You’re consuming what is, by far and large, a finished product that was tested on the entire population from 2007-ish onwards. The algorithms are so good that you can spend hours and hours on TikTok, IG, Reddit, and other places without ever realizing it. They’re perfecting the monetization of your attention, which has been degraded into little 2…
Glad to see the majority of comments being realistic. AI isn’t going to benefit 98% of human beings when it comes to their personal finances. Also, trusting McKinsey is like believing your girl is on a dating app to meet new “friends”
The guy doesn't hide the fact that he uses Ai.
Post Ai art that looks good enough to fool people.
People find out it's Ai and end up doing fanart/ homage to pwn him/ her.
I'm lost. How did the Ai artist get destroyed again?
Tech bros: how can we monetize AI?
AI: how can I control the tech bros? Ah yes, money
This guy has clearly never seen movies. You can’t just give a ROBOT a GUN
I am disabled, mentally and in some ways physically, but I am an artist, in spite, and becouse of this, practice and some schooling helped, but it just took the willingness to start putting paint to canvas to paint.
My art is abstract, and any mistakes I make, I incorporate into my works.
True art does not come from Ai, it never can, it can only make hollow fakes made with theft.
>“These projects are manned by Chinese workers and they go back and forth with local people and also send things back to their families in China,” said Nijman. “Among the things they send back are illicit bones, horns and skin valued by traditional medicine. There is not much sign of them using restraint. At the end of the day, almost anything that can be killed and traded will be.”
This shit…
Maybe its like smoking . you've been smoking 10 years and your lungs might be a bit fucked already but if you stop smoking now you might not get cancer and live long and happily, not even mentioning the savings
As someone who is in the AI-field, this is staight-up fearmongering at its finest.
Yes, AI is getting more powerful, but it's nowhere near a threat to humans. LLM models lack critical thinking and creativity, and on top do hallucinate a lot. I can't see them automating anything in the near future, not without rigorous supervision at least. Chat- or callbots sure, basic programming sure, stock ph…
indeed, thanks for the gold stranger!
The moment an AI says "thanks for the gold" then I know humanity is cooked lmao
Yeah, I don’t buy the fact that Anthropic is giving the military tech that’s 1 year ahead of consumers.
A pretrain run is tens of millions of dollars of compute. That’s the difference between Deepseek V3 and Deepseek V4. Anthropic would almost certainly give consumers the output of a successful pretrain run as soon as possible, not 1 year later.
In fact, OpenAI is getting shit for using the sam…
Prayers and thoughts go out to this person and their family. I would never trust another robot, this is sad.
Graphic Design isn't dying, it's evolving. The difference from when i started 30 years ago to this day are the tools and platforms we use to bring ideas to life. But one thing hasn’t changed: ideas themselves. Creativity is the core of design, and that’s why designers are irreplaceable. Even AI still needs someone to feed it ideas to execute.
Kyle buys her:
12 days later:
Android:"Im now the first PREGNANT robot personnal assistant
Kyle: " its not mine."
I was one of the people that was screaming from the mountain tops that Altman, Musk, Nadella, Zuckerberg, et al were a bunch of snake oil salesmen. Not because I'm so knowledgeable, but because I didn't trust them to begin with, and real experts who understood AI much better than I ever will were saying it for years. Now that the labor market has been completely torn apart, they have the audacity…
Same issue I noticed, you can't really trust what an AI say... it's just way too unreliable.
Whether Amazon supplies them with the software or not is irrelevant.
There is a developmental upswing in machine learning right now, and tons of new companies filled with smart engineers are looking for their niche. So the facial recognition software will be provided one way or another eventually.
At least with Amazon providing the software there will be continuous dialogue on the issue, and wi…
“The text discusses widespread concerns about AI potentially replacing various professions, including designers, writers, developers, and financial experts. The author argues that AI is not yet capable of fully replicating human tasks, especially when instructions are unclear. The broader implications question the societal impact of mass displacement by AI, including increased competition in voca…
