If AI replaced jobs that people didn’t want to work that would be awesome. Who wants to work in a factory, grocery stores, or coal mines?

@-durnehviir corporations will get richer because of AI. Force corporations that don’t employ humans to pay a hefty AI tax and funnel that back to the people. Yea I know that’s too good to be true but how it would be in a perfect world.

In my opinion, it's a leap to go from "AI is a tool that is part of a functioning society which has mechanisms to adapt to change" to "That one part will completely conquer society".

Yeah but the overarching subject matter was regarding AI/Simulation and the problems within that framework, not the various problems of the world at large let alone specifically getting into wages/finances. It doesn't matter if you don't have enough money for commissions, antis will just say you HAVE to learn how to draw no matter if you aren't in a good position to learn it and be decent at it. Don't believe the environmental excuses either. Humans produce far more emissions and waste on the regular than all of AI.

The machine doesn't deliver probability, it learns concepts. Extremely similar to how our own brains function. Speak for yourself. Maybe you don't know what consciousness is. Most of us do. When you get there, you will also see, clearly, that AI is a tool to be used by a USER, and will never be able compare to human consciousness. It may be able to appear so, convincingly, replicating, but no human will ever "code a soul" in to some object.

@yacovmitchenko1490 Which is what enables us to know that AI isn't conscious. You wouldn't stare at a brick and say "That is a fully conscious being", unless you would. Then in that case I guess bricks are conscious according to you.
