when it comes to AI-generated images, it's always the light that gives it away for me. I gotta admit it has developed significantly in the past year tho.
As a disabled artist, seeing ai bros use me and many other disabled artists as a scapegoat for their thought process is very offensive to me and makes me very sad. Because I know they do not care about making things accessible and “easier” for us, they just want to defend their shitty opinion! It also just gives off fake activism, and it furthers the idea that disabled people cannot learn to do c…
Dear artists if you post your art online don’t forget to make ai art stans life a living hell by using Anti AI filters
1960s futurists: "Automation will free mankind from meaningless tedium to focus on creative pursuits only human beings can muster."
2020s tech bros: "We're building AI to write all your books, music and TV so you can focus on the meaningless tedium of your cubicle job."
Worst thing about AI and the detectors is that if you're a good writer and you wrote something very technical and specific you get flagged and punished.
The sad part is that despite this being a huge "F you" to whatever entity posted this, human artists posting in replies to this is just feeding the algorithm to take the pieces that work and improve the next piece of crap that poster or other ai posting page will try and put out. A moral victory for sure, but objectively its probably working against us a bit.
I had never touched pen in my 28 year life until AI slop started to appear everywhere, i tried it, i decided that i could do better and i started to try and learn to draw.
After trying many AI tools, I use Olovka AI for the most relevant citations and writing, and it's much more affordable compared to other overpriced tools.
Pro tip, if you don't have an AI detector handy then look for overdescriptiveness; specifically overuse of sets of three descriptors, like "The door was tall, white and sturdy." It's not 100% foolproof, but it works more times than not.
EDIT: Since a lot of people are commenting that they write like this, I'd like to clarify that using sets of three descriptors is only suspicious IN EXCESS. If i…
the fact all of those REAL art pieces look so much better than the art mimic is bringing my hopes up as an artist
EDIT: I posted this comment to share positivity and I did not expect some AI bros to try arguing here. Thanks to everyone who's defending real art <3
It's been a month though, and some of y'all are really acting like a baby who's popsicle fell on the ground. I mean it wholeheartedly…
So, this is no longer about the summit, it's about Russia finding out how much control they have over South Africa.
Amazon seems to think I'm a wholesaler for crutches now, or possibly that I'm a giant centipede that twisted all the ankles on one side.
Wasn't there just an article about people 3D printing genetically similar rhino horns to flood the market? Is this related to that?
>“It’s a big dilemma for us. Of course, we cannot arrest him," Mashatile said. “It’s almost like you invite your friend to your house, and then arrest them. That’s why for us, his not coming is the best solution. The Russians are not happy, though. They want him to come."
Pick. Better. Friends. You. Asshole.
@Last_loyalistshe's literally ai generated with no pores or flaws or anything, how is she not "unnatural"
Didn't someone at openAI called nightshade as "abuse"? It's like thieves saying that locking your windows when you leave is bad and you shouldn't do it.
This is unironically the most realistic take I've seen on 'AI taking our jobs' lmao
Its all fun and games until the AI customer service tries to scam you 💀
Honestly one of the most horrifying things of AI is the sales pitch is basically pushing for obsolescence of humanity and people still love it
funny how the aim of ai 'art' is to be like human art then claims to be better at it..?
